They were first knitted in the 1920s and have since become a crucial part of the economy of the islands, as well as a well-respected fashion staple. Guinness
Originated almost three hundred years ago, Guinness is the most well-known brewery in the world, especially for its dry stout that has a specific dark color and chocolate-y taste. When in Dublin, don’t forget to visit the Guinness Storehouse, as it is one of the most impressive museums you’ll ever see, with seven floors and multiple bars where you can enjoy a glass and some authentic Irish food.

Whether you’re a bookworm or you simply enjoy reading a piece of literature from time to time, you’ve surely heard about some of the famous Irish poets and writers such as Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, and W. B. Yeats. The Irish have undeniably played a major role in the development of both classic and modern literature, and to this day they continue to inspire millions of people with their writings and novels.
