CA Foundation Registration 2022: Registration Steps

CA Foundation Registration is done online mode through the ICAI website in which students need to register themselves for CA Foundation Course. ICAI is the conducting body that manages, conducts, and announces the results for the CA Course Exams. ICAI also releases the CA Foundation Date Sheet. The very first process while appearing or preparing for any CA course is the registration process. ICAI CA Foundation Registration 2022-May/June session

The registration for any session of CA Foundation exams starts instantly after the exams of the previous session. But for the CA Foundation May/June session, there is a specific deadline, i.e., 1 January 2022. So, whoever is applying for the May CA Foundation session should have completed their registration before that date. CA Foundation Correction Window

For the CA Foundation May session, the correction window will be soon opened by ICAI for the candidates to change their examination centre or the other information. This correction window is free of cost. The ICAI will also announce the dates before a few days of opening the window.

CA Foundation Online Application Dates 2022

ICAI has announced that the examination form for all the CA courses will only be filled through online mode. Similarly, the dates for the application form for CA Foundation have also been announced to fill the online forms. From 20th February, the application form window will be opened and will remain open till 20th March. But if you submit the form after 13th March, then you should pay INR 600 as a fine since 13th March is the final date.

Timings of CA Foundation Exam

The timings in the CA Foundation exam depend upon the paper that you will appear in. Paper 1 and 2 are for 3 hours and are conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. But paper three and paper 4 are for 2 hours and will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. Also, it is better if the student reaches the examination centre before one to two hours. Students also get extra minutes, in the beginning, to go through all the questions properly.

CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria 2022

First of all, ICAI has no age limits for the students who want to appear in the CA Foundation exam. So, age is never going to be any eligibility criteria. Apart from this, the students must have completed the Class 12th or any equivalent exam from the recognized board of India. Also, the students who want to become eligible for CA Foundation Exam must have filled out their registration form before the last date. Also, they must have completed a minimum of 4 months of the study period for the CA Foundation Exam. The students who are appearing for the class 12 exam can also register for CA Foundation registration.

How To Register for CA Foundation 2022?

The registration form for CA Foundation 2022 is in the official portal of ICAI. You need to simply abide by the steps mentioned below after opening the ICAI site.

  • First of all log in to the ICAI website as a new user.
  • Enter all your basic details on the login screen. After this, you will receive an OTP to your number or email.
  • You need to validate the login activity by entering the OTP and then you will receive the credentials to log in while registering for CA Foundation Exam.
  • Now, log in with the details that you have and tap on the student’s cycle. From the student’s cycle, you need to click on the “Apply for Foundation”.
  • Now, fill in all the information that has been asked in the registration form and move to the next page.
  • On the next page, you need to upload the soft copies of all the necessary documents as prescribed by ICAI.
  • At the final stage, submit the required CA Foundation Registration fee and complete the registration process.

CA Registration Fees 2022

The registration fee for the Indian students for CA Foundation Course is INR 9800, whereas the student who is opting for overseas centres needs to pay USD 250. Also, the correction window is free, so there is no fee. No, registration will be considered if you have not submitted the registration fee. Also, the registration fee does not include any application form fee. So, you need to pay the examination form fee separately while filling exam form.

Documents Required For CA Foundation Registration 2022

During the CA Foundation Registration or before the beginning of the registration process, students must have collected their required documents. Before knowing the list of the documents, students should be aware that these documents must be in a scanned format or soft copies. Also, the next major thing is that the documents should be self-attested. So, the major required documents include the class 12 mark sheet and certificates for the Class 10th mark sheet. Apart from these, nationality proof is also compulsory. And other two things that you must have are your photographs and the scanned signature. Without which you cannot fill up your registration form, these are the most things.

Therefore, students must take proper care of the CA Foundation registration process. Without complete registration, students will not proceed with any next step further in the CA Foundation Exam.
